Unused WNBC Graphics

 

                                                                                    WNBC's Version of Look C                                                                                                                     Look C is the standardized graphics package of NBC's O&Os, save for WMAQ in Chicago and WNBC. While looking at the website of NBC Artworks, the in-house graphics department of NBC, I watched the demo of Look C, and noticed something interesting.

The Look C demo had several clips of a version of the Look C package for WNBC:

The video above shows a similar open in use at fellow O&O WRC in Washington.

I have to say that I like these graphics much more than the onces currently in use at WNBC. WNBC updated its opens in February, but the rest of the package isn't up to par. I wonder if we'll ever see these graphics on WNBC one day.
